Nina Simone - Feeling good

Ayer mientras hablaba con mi amigo Emilio, le noté más contento de lo habitual. Como por arte de magia, mientras descorchamos cervezas y arreglábamos el mundo a martillazos(como solemos hacer), me relataba el porqué de su ilusión; comenzó a sonar esta canción. Es curioso como la música acude cuando no es llamada y describe sentimientos o estados de ánimo mejor que nosotros mismos. Y como él me hizo recordar este tema de manera involuntaria, hoy quiero recordarlo con vosotros también.

Esta canción surgió como parte de un musical..."El rugido de greaspain de 1965."" Feeling Good" es una canción escrita por Anthony Newley y Leslie Bricusset. Cy Grant el prota del musical , fue quién cantó por primera vez la canción. No os voy a destripar la trama del musical, porque la verdad no lo he visto.
La canción se encontraba en el disco  "I Put a spell on you" de Nina Simone. Existe también una canción con el mismo nombre que el disco, con una calidad también increíble de esta mujer. 
Pero vamos con la canción...una descripción brutal de lo que es "Feelling good". Aquí os la propongo con Lyrics, para que no se escape nada de ella, y claro en su versión original. En esta ocasión para que te sumerjas del todo te invito a que la escuches el primer minuto a todo trapo.

Esta canción es utilizada de forma habitual en publicidad y cine...es de las de...esa me suena. Disfrútala.
